Cancellation Policy
A customer may cancel a confirmed booking more than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup. Where payment has been collected, the amount actually paid is refunded to the original payment method.
Once a booking is within 48 hours of the scheduled pickup it is non-cancellable by the customer.
A booking made and confirmed less than 48 hours before its scheduled pickup is non-cancellable by the customer from the moment of confirmation; this is disclosed before payment.
No-shows are governed separately by the DAWNS Refund & Cancellation Policy and are not treated as late cancellations.
Airport Pickup & Waiting Time
For arriving flights, 90 minutes of complimentary waiting time begins at the actual touchdown time tracked by our flight monitor. A tracked delay does not begin waiting; after the complimentary period, waiting is charged in commenced 30-minute increments at your motor car's approved waiting rate.
For all other pickups, 15 minutes of complimentary waiting time is included.
Beyond complimentary waiting, time is billed in 30-minute increments at the prevailing hourly rate of the assigned vehicle tier.
Overtime
Hourly charters extending beyond the booked duration are billed in 30-minute increments at the published hourly rate.
Overtime is calculated from the agreed drop-off time, not the end of complimentary waiting.
Out-of-State & Long-Distance Travel
Travel beyond the booked city of operation requires advance authorisation and a separate quote.
Out-of-state journeys include fuel, toll, security escort (where applicable), and chauffeur accommodation if the trip extends overnight.
Night & Public-Holiday Surcharge
A 15% surcharge applies to all bookings starting between 22:00 and 05:00 local time.
Public holidays attract a 20% surcharge unless a corporate / embassy contract specifies otherwise.
Airport Access Surcharge
Airport pickups and drop-offs include a fixed access fee covering parking, meet-and-greet and signage, listed transparently on the quote.
Fuel
All quotes include fuel for journeys within the agreed scope. Excess mileage from unscheduled detours is billed at the per-kilometre rate of the vehicle tier.
Chauffeur Accommodation
For multi-day or out-of-state assignments, the client provides hotel-grade accommodation and per diem for the assigned chauffeur, or DAWNS will arrange it and add it to the invoice.
Vehicle Damage & Cleaning
Wilful damage to the vehicle interior, soiling that requires deep cleaning, or loss of vehicle accessories is billed at cost plus a 20% handling fee.
Smoking inside the vehicle attracts a fixed cleaning fee of NGN 75,000 and forfeits any remaining service from that day.
Lost Property
Items left in the vehicle are logged at end-of-shift and held at our operations centre for 30 days.
Return shipping or courier delivery is arranged at the owner's cost.
Child Seats & Pets
Child and booster seats can be provided on request when booking — please specify age and weight.
Service animals are always welcome. Other pets are accepted with prior notice and may attract a cleaning fee.
Refund Policy
Eligible refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 business days of approval.
Bank transfer refunds may take up to 10 business days depending on the receiving institution.

Corporate clients receive a monthly consolidated invoice on Net 30 (or negotiated) terms.
Embassies are billed monthly or per mission, with 30–60 day terms based on the diplomatic agreement.
Government bodies are billed per Purchase Order / contract terms.

Force Majeure
DAWNS is not liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, civil unrest, road closures, or government action. We will make every effort to re-route or reschedule.
